As promised, in 2026 we are becoming more active on the ground, focusing on building meaningful, personal connections with the people who value our work. We want to nurture real relationships that go beyond the digital sphere.
We are thrilled to have launched our DE-GENTRIFICATION tours, beginning in the area around Gare du Midi – Zuidstation in Brussels.
This location offers a powerful setting to illustrate the direct link between global, top-down, land-speculation-driven urbanism and the emergence of small-scale, designed hostile architecture. It allows us to make visible the often-overlooked consequences of large-scale planning decisions on everyday public space.
So far, we have successfully hosted four tours and received very positive feedback. We are now looking to expand this initiative—covering additional neighborhoods and developing alternative approaches to rethinking and redesigning the city in ways that are more inclusive and beneficial for the majority of its residents.
